Who we are

WayLucid Inc. ("WayLucid", "we") builds AI systems and connected workflows for established businesses. This policy explains what we collect when you visit waylucid.com or contact us, why we collect it, and the choices you have.

What this policy covers

It covers the waylucid.com website and the ways you reach us from it. It does not cover the systems we build for clients under contract. Those are governed by the agreement for each engagement.

Information you give us

When you use our contact form or email us, we receive what you choose to share. Through the form that is your name, work email, company, the workflow you want to discuss, where it gets stuck, the change you are looking for, your timing, the investment range you have in mind, and how you prefer to be contacted. You can also add your role, a phone number and the systems you already use. The form also records the page you submitted from, the site that referred you, and any campaign parameters in the link you followed, so that we know where the request came from. We use all of it to reply, to prepare for a conversation with you, and to keep a record of that conversation.

Where your form details go

When you send the form, Webflow stores a copy of your submission for WayLucid. Our notification service is configured to send your brief to our team and a confirmation to you by email. We may add your details to LucidDock, the customer relationship system that WayLucid owns and runs, to manage our conversation and follow-up. We do not sell your information, and we do not share it with anyone else for their own use. The service providers listed below handle it only to run the form and deliver our emails, on our behalf. You can ask us to remove your details at any time by emailing info@waylucid.com.

Information collected automatically

Like most websites, ours records basic technical data when you visit: IP address, browser and device type, operating system, language, the pages you open and when, and the site that referred you. This comes from our hosting providers' server logs and from Google Analytics. We use it to keep the site running, to find and fix problems, and to understand which parts of the site are useful.

Cookies and analytics

We use Google Analytics to understand how visitors use the site. It sets cookies that tell one visit apart from another and collects the usage data described above, which Google processes on our behalf. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings, or install Google's opt-out browser add-on at tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout.

Our contact form uses Cloudflare Turnstile to keep out spam. It checks each submission for signs of automation. Some providers also set cookies the site needs in order to work, such as security cookies. We do not use advertising cookies or advertising trackers.

How we use information

To reply to you, and to prepare for and follow up on conversations you ask for.
To operate, secure and improve the website.
To meet legal obligations and to protect WayLucid, our clients and our visitors.

We do not sell personal information, and we do not share it for advertising.

Service providers

We use a small number of service providers to run the site and to communicate with you. They process information on our behalf and only for the purposes above.

Webflow, for website hosting and form processing.
Netlify, for hosting parts of the site's code and images, and for our form notification service.
Cloudflare Turnstile, for spam protection on our forms.
Google Analytics, for website usage analytics.
Resend, to deliver the confirmation email you receive and our internal notification.
Google Workspace, for email.

We may also disclose information when the law requires it, or to protect rights, safety and property.

Where information is processed

Our service providers may store and process information in the United States and in other countries where they operate.

How long we keep it

Contact requests and the conversations that follow are kept while we are in touch with you and for a reasonable period afterwards, so that we can pick the thread back up. Technical logs and analytics data are kept for a limited period for security and troubleshooting. You can ask us to delete your information at any time.

Security

We limit access to the information we hold to the people who need it, and we use providers that encrypt data in transit. No website can be guaranteed to be perfectly secure, so please do not send sensitive personal information through the contact form.

Your choices and rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to ask for access to the personal information we hold about you, to correct it, to delete it, to restrict or object to how we use it, or to receive a copy in a portable format. Email info@waylucid.com and we will respond. We will not treat you differently for exercising these rights. You can also ask us not to contact you again.

Do Not Track

Some browsers can send a Do Not Track signal. There is no common standard for responding to it, so the site does not change its behavior when it receives one. You can still block analytics cookies as described above.

Children

The site is for businesses and is not directed at children under 16. We do not knowingly collect information from them.

Changes to this policy

When we change this policy, we update the effective date at the top. Material changes will be noted on this page.
